Which trip is best for you?

We offer guiding services perfect for everyone, beginners, pros, individuals and groups.

We'll gear up in our waders (and can assist with rentals if you don't own a pair yet!) and cast while standing in the river. Our knowledgeable guides can offer one-on-one teaching to help you improve your fly fishing skills. Hikes are required to access prime fishing spots, which makes finding fish more time consuming. However, wade trips are widely considered the most rewarding method of fly fishing. From tiny bugs floating on the water to ducks, eagles, deer and more, the slower pace of wade trips will immerse you in the magic of the river. Wading staffs can be very helpful while navigating rocky river beds.

Hop in the drift boat with us and enjoy stunning scenary around every river bend! Guides can assist all members of your group, whether it's netting a fish, tieing on flies or directing you where to cast. From the boat, you won't have to cast far to access fish, making float trips perfect for beginners. If you have physical limitations, float trips are an excellent way to experience Montana fly-fishing in a comfortable setting. Unlike wade trips, where you can only pack the essentials, float trips allow you to bring more gear. Your group will experience different types of water while floating through uninterrupted Montana wilderness.

What we provide

It's important to manage expectations, oftentimes we get caught up in the "catching" aspect of fishing. We can't control mother nature, but we can promise to work hard to provide opportunities for you to experience success by being fully prepared for the day. No matter what, we'll ensure you learn something, become a better angler, create lasting memories, and most importantly walk away with a positive experience!

Transportation

On the day of your booking(s) your guide will arrange to you meet you at a mutually convienient location.

Fishing Gear

Use our gear checklist to plan for your trip! If you're missing any items, we can assist with renting necessary gear. We believe in Gore-Tex and Merino wool and we fish rain or shine!
